The P.A. People have developed a unique solution to the distribution of audio for large scale events and crowd control. 

Typical large scale events can require crowd control over very large areas, sometimes spanning a city CBD or the multiple

sites of a major sporting event.

Using expertise gathered over the past ten years, The P.A People have developed a unique solution to this problem – Zone Manager.

An unlimited number of audio and messaging zones can be created and centrally managed to provide automated but updatable 

crowd management messages for Ingress and Egress.

Typically the system would be deployed using a combination of mobile broadband and wireless networking technologies, enabling 

the location of a individual zone virtually anywhere!

Audio streaming and message playback hardware, customised software applications and an IP network are the foundation of the solution. 

The P.A. People have designed a system to playback pre-recorded messages and stream live voice announcements to multiple zones 

along with control of third party VMS signage. 

A play list selected from pre-recorded announcements is created on the system. This list is stored on the local messaging device and 

updated every two minutes from the central database. The database, which is in turn configured via a simple web based interface, 

manages the individual playlists for each zone. 

Priority streaming ports are also enabled for emergency notification and other important ‘real time’ messages, interrupting message

 playback with live audio and returning to the playlist after the live feed is turned off.

In addition to the delivery and management of the Zone messaging information itself, The P.A. People can also 

design and supply appropriate PA systems for your event. 

From a high quality linear PA system mounted to existing street furniture, to mechanised self elevating systems 

designed specifically for long throw applications we can provide crowd control solutions for almost any application.

We also have available Motorola GM338 Mobile radios. These units can serve as desk bound radios complete with 

power supply and external aerial for users interfaced to local ClearCom key stations, or integrated with party line 

comms for stand alone applications such as floats.

As a value added option, the Zone Manager system can be configured to control third party VMS messaging signage.

Integration of VMS (Variable Message Systems) signage ensures that your messages can be seen as well as heard, 

reinforcing information that otherwise may go unheeded.

The Zone Manager system is often deployed alongside other public event products from The P.A People including 

our EYEcue video surveillance system, SPLnet environmental noise monitoring and Radio Communications system.
