    • Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Supply and Install A/V Infrastructure, Audio and Video Equipment, Intelligent Lighting, and Convention Congress Systems .

  • Recently The P.A. People finished an Audio Visual fit out in the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney for AV Partners who manage the AV services for the hotel.

The fit out was comprehensive and included the Grand ballroom which has multiple source inputs, dual NEC projectors with projector lifts. The speaker system is Meyer UPA with associated speaker lifts and control. A Crestron Control System provides for easy user interface.

Also the Winten, Teale and Buchanan Rooms which can be used in differing configurations have multiple NEC projectors on lifts, Bose speaker systems powered by AMAV amplifiers and again a Crestron control system. There are multiple inputs available for different sources as well as computer interfaces. Three other meeting rooms have audio visual systems installed, again with Bose speakers, NEC projectors and Crestron control systems. The Boardroom also has a Crestron control system and video capabilities.

  • In September 1999, The P.A. People completed work on a number of projects for the Link Extension (Convention Centre South). Four separate contracts were awarded to The P.A. People:

    • Infrastructure Works - base AV cabling, ceiling speakers, foyer paging system, banquet hall moving lights, etc

    • Loose Audio Equipment - the remaining audio equipment to complete the audio systems in each room

    • Loose Video Equipment - six rear project screens and mirror kits, video projectors, video accessories, etc

    • Congress System - integrated microphone and voting system for 1000 seat auditorium

The DCS5000 series Congress Discussion System supplied and installed by The P.A. People in the auditorium is manufactured by Danish Interpretation Systems of Copenhagen.

The PA People have represented DIS in Australia exclusively since 1992.

The system features individual consoles integrated into the seating pedestal, each featuring a microphone, request to speak button, a 'smart card' reader and three 'parliamentary' voting buttons. The system can be either manually controlled or placed in one of several automatic modes, with voting results either being private or displayed by way of a video projector.
