The P.A. People have provided a number of world leading sound reinforcement solutions for both transportation terminals and public precincts.

    Some of these facilities include:

    • Sydney Domestic Airport - T2 Terminal

    • Sydney Olympic Park site wide paging and BGM system oringinally installed in 1999 and upgraded again in 2009

    • Sydney southern beachside suburb of Cronulla Plaza shopping mall system. This utilised spread spectrum radio technology to overcome what would otherwise have been a prohibitive cabling cost.

    • Darling Harbour in Sydney - Sitewide sound reinforcement system with AMX control and Crown IQ mixers and amplifiers (1993)

  • When Electritech and the Sydney International Airport required a comprehensive paging control and scheduled messaging system, they turned to The P.A. People.

The P.A. People supplied a complete control package based on a Peavey MediaMatrix (supplied by Electritech) and Creative Audio PCU 1 and PCU 2 paging station and ControlNet processor and software. The software allows on-line configuration of paging stations and a full calender based message scheduling system.

The scheduling section of the package is divided into three tabs - destination zone selection, message release time and message content.

  • During the latter half of 1999, The Olympic Co-ordination Authority made a decision to update the Homebush Bay site wide P.A. system to use a CobraNet signal distribution system. The first phase was the supply and installation of a CobraNet equipped Peavey MediaMatrix, with the second phase being to refit and augment the existing systems along Olympic Boulevard with CobraNet technology.  A key component of the second phase was the supply and installation of new Crown amplifiers fitted with Creative Audio IQ-PIP USP2/CN modules.

The third and fourth phases were carried out immediately prior to the 2000 Olympic Games. These stages involved the completion of the speaker and amplifier installation throughout the balance of the site and the design, supply and installation of the new control system in the Homebush Bay Operations Centre (HBOC).

Most recently (end 2009) The P.A. People updated the front end of the sitewide system which now boasts the latest technology in paging systems with the installation of a Biamp Systems Vocia system.
